About Us
We are a husband and wife team, Ken and Janelle, and life-long Alaskans. We have been around sewing our entire lives, and we both have a passion for helping people. I am the crafter, and my husband is the technician.
Ken has been an electronics and computer repair technician/engineer for over 20 years. With everything getting more and more computerized these days, his computer and electronic knowledge are invaluable.
If it's mechanical, electrical, or has a computer... He can fix it!
We saw a need for another repair shop in the state due to wait times as long as 3 months for basic repairs. Our hope is to help the crafting community by alleviating those long wait times.
Repair Service Information
We pride ourselves in our repair work! Upon receiving your sewing machine we will inspect and diagnose, then notify you of the next steps to get your machine up and running properly. Typical repair turn around is 2 weeks or less!
- $65 deposit required for inspection and diagnostics (applied to final bill)
- $150 for standard cleaning, adjustment, and oiling
- $200 for computerized machines (annual service repair)
- We always contact you before performing repairs that require parts or extensive work
